PocketParks Has Joined the Flock 🏞️

Oh hai, friends!
We have a new game in the Flock League that scratches all the itches: Mahjong-style set collection, beautiful photography of all 63 US National Parks, and fits in your pocket so you can play anywhere,
Say hello to PocketParks! (Say hello for real on their Instagram)
Three years, 63 parks, one card game.
PocketParks started on the trail. Designer Jason Wong spent three years visiting every one of the 63 US national parks, camera in hand. When he got home, he turned the trip into a game.
Every photo in the deck is his. Each card also lists the GPS coordinates of where he took the shot, a few fun facts about the park, and a little box so you can check off the parks you've visited yourself. It's part card game and part travel log.
What is PocketParks all about?
PocketParks is a Mahjong-style set collection card game for 2-5 players where you're building sets of parks that share a theme. Every card carries icons like volcano, glacier, desert, or island, and you're racing to complete three sets (two, three, and four cards) before anyone else.
If you've played Mahjong or Rummy, the bones will feel familiar. Jason took the draw, discard, and meld rhythm of those classics and gave it a national parks makeover, so it's easy to pick up and still has plenty of room for strategy.
On your turn you can add to a set, draw two and discard one, play an event card, or pay cards to swipe a park right out of an opponent's collection. That last one is where friendships get tested ;)
Rounds take about 5-10 minutes, and three rounds makes a full game. Collect nine of the same theme in your hand and you win instantly, which has never once happened to us (yet!) but we keep trying.
Take it everywhere.
This is where PocketParks shines. The cards are thick, linen-finished, and coated to handle shuffling at a picnic table, and the metal tin keeps them safe in a backpack, glovebox, or carry-on.
63 park cards. 12 event cards. Ages 10+, 2-5 players, about 15-45 minutes.
We are so happy to welcome it to the Flock. 🏞️
With so much squee,
Becky & the Bunnies
